For all cube icons applied here ( I hope this is to expand on the patterns, too) usage of this color distribution is fact:

Orange front, Red behind, Blue right, Green left, Yellowtop, last slice (down) White.

To test sequences and patterns I've decided to hold orange in front and yellow on top. This helps to revolve tested moves, and, if the whole cube is turned, to find how to execute the pattern respectivly the sequence. Errors are easier to find this way.

     
Für alle Würfelbilder, die ich hier verwende (ich hoffe, daß ich dies auch bei den Mustern eingehalten habe!), gilt die hier angegebene Farbverteilung:

Orange vorne, Rot hinten, Blau rechts, Grün links, Gelb oben, letzte Fläche (unten) Weiß.

Für das Ausprobieren von Mustern und Zugfolgen habe ich mir angewöhnt, orange vorne und gelb oben zu halten. Dies stellt zum einen sicher, daß man leicht probierte Züge rückgängig machen kann, und, sofern Drehungen des gesamten Würfels stattfinden, nachzuvollziehen, wie das Muster bzw. die Folge anzuwenden ist. Irrtümer lassen sich dadurch einfacher feststellen.
