Bob Burtons displays in his "winter variation" a method, by that one up to three corners of the third levels are oriented, while an edge-corner-pair is brought up to its place on first and second level. The there staying corner is automatically oriented, on the third level, in the right way.

Kevin Hays should be the origin developer of 'winter variation'.
   
Bob Burton stellt in den "winter variation" eine Methode dar, mittels derer ein bis drei Ecken der dritten Ebene orientiert werden, während er ein Ecken-Kanten-Paar der ersten und zweiten Ebene an den Platz bringt. Die dort befindliche Ecke ist dann automatisch auf die dritte Ebene gebracht richtig orientiert.
