Basic Hints

Vertical, neighboured (L, R) arrows are united in one grafic. This has its reason in a constant distance on one hand and on the other in my technique to combine outerslice arrows with no space inbetween while using letters.

Horizontal (U, D) arrows and diagonal (B, F) arrows are not to combine in an other way, except doing the separate way explicit – what does not care about the mean time handling of such two slices and the kindness for the eyes.

The combination of 'diagonal' arrows is explained in 'combined arrows'.

B''F' Some users of my arrow-based system may not like this combination of arrows; but respecting the upper arrow for backward gives the hint (forward / backward) for the front arrow, which is always symbolized by the arrow below.

Double turns, which run against the sense of the clock digits, are naturally displayed as arrow this way. But to fit them into letter notation, five ways are possible to do this, shown here on the right slice:

R2', R'2, R'², R²', R''

In the case of two apostrophes it is my way to show the anticlockwise turn.

Grundlegende Hinweise
